Introducing the CH-180 Super Acro

In 1982, the Canadian company Zenair Ltd. from Midland, Ontario, introduced its new light multi-purpose aircraft, the Zenair CH-180 Super Acro. This innovative machine quickly made its mark in the aviation world.

Design and Specifications

The CH-180 Super Acro was developed by the German engineer and designer Chris Heintz. It featured a single-seat, cantilever low-wing monoplane configuration with tricycle landing gear and a tailwheel. Power was provided by a 150 hp (110 kW) Textron Lycoming IO-360 four-cylinder piston engine, ensuring robust performance for its class.
