BETAB-500ShP

The BETAB-500ShP concrete-piercing aerial bomb is designed to destroy airfield runways, taxiways, highways, and reinforced concrete aircraft shelters.
Purpose and Targets
This powerful ordnance is employed to neutralize critical infrastructure, ensuring the inoperability of airbases and key communication routes. Its specific design allows it to effectively target hardened objectives, making it a strategic weapon.
Destructive Capabilities
The BETAB-500ShP bomb is capable of penetrating armor up to 550 mm thick. In medium-density soil, it creates a crater 4.5 meters in diameter. Upon impact with a runway, the concrete pavement is destroyed over an area of up to 50 m².
Operational Parameters
It can be deployed from altitudes ranging from 170 to 1000 meters, with operational speeds between 700 and 1150 km/h. These characteristics provide great versatility for its deployment under various tactical conditions, adapting to mission requirements.
