C-802 (YJ-82)

The YJ-82 (Yingji-82, export designation C-802) tactical medium-range anti-ship missile is a modernized version of the YJ-81 (C-801A) anti-ship missile. The missile’s ramjet engine was replaced by a Chinese-developed turbojet engine.

As a result, the maximum effective range of the missile was increased by 50% compared to the C-801A variant, reaching a distance of 120 kilometers.

Enhanced Features

The missile’s probability of hitting the target, even under intensified enemy countermeasures, is 75%. This establishes it as a significant threat in naval operations.

Evasion Capabilities

Its low radar cross-section (RCS), low flight altitude, and an integrated jamming suppression system make the task of intercepting the missile on its combat route extremely difficult, ensuring a high survival rate.
