CoAX 600

The CoAX 600 is a light helicopter developed by the German company EDM Aerotec GmbH. This aircraft represents a further evolution of the EDM Aerotec CoAX 2 D/2R models, building upon their innovative design legacy.

Innovation and Power

The main innovation of this model is the increase in its maximum take-off weight, reaching 600 kilograms. To support this enhanced capability, a more powerful propulsion system was chosen: the ULPower UL390iS engine, delivering 160 hp (118 kW) of power.

Efficiency and Flight Performance

The new engine allows for a continuous power output of 145 hp with a fuel consumption of just 19 liters per hour, making it a more economical option than the popular Robinson R22. With a 70-liter fuel tank, the CoAX 600 can fly for up to three and a half hours at a cruising speed of 120-150 km/h.

In 2023, the EDM Aerotec CoAX 600 helicopter received its airworthiness certificate from DULV, confirming its safety and reliability for operation.
