BRO-4 Ruta

After receiving a monetary reward for his previous glider, the BRO-3, Bronius Oskinis began work on a new sport glider. This glider, designed for aircraft towing, was designated BRO-4 Ruta.
An Ambitious Competitive Project
Compared to Oskinis’s earlier gliders, the construction timelines for the Ruta were very tight. This urgency stemmed from his plan to participate with it in a national glider competition to be held in the United States.
Rapid Construction in Šiauliai
The construction of the glider was completed in just five months. This process took place at the Šiauliai Vocational School, under the expert guidance of B. Karvelis, ensuring the BRO-4 Ruta was ready for competition.
