Caproni Ca 142

Development and Features
The Caproni Ca 142 aircraft represented a modification of the Ca 133 model. Key distinctions of this updated version included retractable landing gear and an increased aircraft weight. The prototype of the aircraft undertook its maiden flight at Taliedo airfield in November 1935.
Testing and Military Service
Subsequent testing of the aircraft indicated that the planned improvements in flight performance were not achieved. Despite these results, the sole example of the Ca 142 was handed over to the military in September 1937, after which it received the registration number MM 327.
