Caudron C.92

In 1925, the Caudron company constructed the Caudron C.92, a small transport aircraft. This six-seater, two-bay biplane was equipped with a twelve-cylinder Lorraine-Dietrich 12 Db engine, capable of generating 370 hp. Its design prioritized passenger comfort, featuring a closed cabin for four passengers and a separate baggage compartment located behind it.

Design and Technical Features

The Caudron C.92 was engineered for practical transport, offering a comfortable and enclosed space for its occupants. Its robust biplane structure and powerful engine made it suitable for the demands of early aviation passenger travel.

Operational History

Only a single example of this aircraft, initially registered as F-ESAC, was ever completed. The C.92 remained in service until July 1934. Throughout its operational period, its registration number was eventually changed to F-AICY.
