Origin and Innovative Design

First taking to the skies on July 18, 1962, the Cessna Model 411 became the largest aircraft of its time designed for the business market. Generally similar to the Model 310, it featured a wing with a slightly increased span and area, an elongated fuselage, and an improved, more powerful propulsion system.

Technical Specifications and Capacity

It was powered by two turbocharged six-cylinder Continental GTSIO-520-C engines, each generating 340 horsepower. The aircraft required a crew of two and could accommodate between 4 and 6 passengers. This made it a versatile option for executive travel.

Production and Service Life

Serial production of the Model 411 ceased in June 1978, after 400 units had been built. Several of these aircraft were supplied to the French Air Force, highlighting its robust design and adaptability beyond purely civilian operations.
