Cessna 650 Citation VI

In 1990, Cessna announced the Citation VI aircraft, a simplified and more affordable version of the Citation III. The first aircraft rolled out of the assembly plant on January 2, 1991, with customer deliveries commencing in 1992.
Development and Design
The aircraft largely retained the Citation III’s airframe, featuring modified flaps and spoilers. The passenger cabin length was increased, though its height was simultaneously reduced, allowing it to accommodate up to ten passengers.
Several cabin layout options were available for customer selection. The Cessna Citation VI was also equipped with a high-lift wing and modified landing gear, enabling it to operate from unpaved airstrips.
Performance and Features
Powered by two Garrett TFE 731-3B-100 turbofan engines, the aircraft could achieve a cruising speed of 874 km/h (543 mph) at an altitude of 15545 m (51000 feet).
Production and Legacy
Despite its features, only 39 units of this model were produced. Manufacturing of the Cessna Citation VI ceased in May 1995.
