Introduction and Development
The Conquest 180 is a light multipurpose aircraft, developed by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturing company Inpaer (Indústria Paulista de Aeronáutica). This aircraft, a further development of the Conquest 160 model, was first introduced in 2003.
Design and Powerplant
The Conquest 180 is a two-seater, strut-braced high-wing monoplane, equipped with a four-cylinder Rotax 912ULS engine providing 100 hp (75 kW). It features a Warp Drive fixed-pitch propeller. Alternatively, Lycoming or Jabiru 3200A engines, both rated at 120 hp, can be used as power plant options.
Variants and Pricing
Starting in 2005, the Conquest 210 variant entered serial production, featuring the same powerplant but incorporating retractable landing gear. Both versions are supplied as ready-to-fly products. In 2012, the standard Conquest 180 cost 184,900 Brazilian Reals (US$36,635).
