Clark 1000

The Clark 1000 is a light multipurpose aircraft developed by the American aircraft manufacturing company Clark Aircraft Inc., based in Marshall, Texas. The first flight of the prototype, the Clark 12, took place on March 19, 1956. Serial production of the Clark 1000 model began in 1959.

Design and Specifications

The Clark 1000 was a two-seat, single-strut biplane, equipped with a nine-cylinder, air-cooled Lycoming R-680 radial engine, delivering 225 hp with a two-bladed propeller. A seven-cylinder Continental R-670 engine, providing 210 hp, could be used as an alternative powerplant.

Production Run

A total of about 70 units of the Clark 1000 aircraft were sold during its entire serial production period.
